2009 TPC at Sawgrass Benefactors' Packages
May 4 - 10, 2009
The 2008 Players Championship week is May 4 - 10, 2009. We will again have surplus Benefactors' Packets available this year.
Each packet contains an individual pass for each day of the tournament (Monday through Sunday) and provides unlimited access to the Benefactors' Pavilion.
Benefactors' Tickets also provides access to Island Club and new Clubhouse [Portions of the Clubhouse are reserved for the players & TPC members and will be closed to the public].
Last year the Benefactors' Pavilion was located behind the 17th tee and it will be located there again for 2009. Any of you who attended last year will agree that this location provided an excellent view of all the action at the 16th & 17th holes and was pretty much the "hot spot" on the course. Refer to the picture above the Benefactor's Pavilion is located where the two tents are behind the 17th tee. [Note: this picture was taken before the course improvements in 2007, so the course may look a little different, but this clearly shows the new location of the Benefactor's Pavilion].
These packets will be offered only as a full weekly packet of 7 individual daily passes and will not be broken up for sale for individual days.
The "early bird" price for these weekly Benefactors' packets will be at our direct cost of $491.31* each. The increase in price is due to a substantial price increase by the TPC due to escalated popularity and demand. To obtain this pricing, we will need to receive payment by January 31st. If any packets are still available after February 1, 2009, the price will be again the TPC's ticket pricing -- $544.81* per packet. So, this year it will definitely be beneficial to reserve and pay for your packets early. [* Prices include 6% Fl. Sales tax & 3% for payment processing and handling]
Benefactors' packages are sold out and not offered to the general public by the TPC any longer. It is our policy to sell our surplus packets at the direct retail cost as published by the TPC Tournament Organization plus a small processing and handling fee.
